Unfailing love (Psalm 90 & 106)

July 27, 2008

In “The God of Israel’s Reign Over the World (Psalms 90-106)” Erich Zenger points out the following connection between the two bookmark Psalms:

Psalms 90:13, 14

O Lord, come back to us!
How long will you delay?
Take pity on your servants!
Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love,
so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives.

Psalms 106:45

He remembered his covenant with them
and relented because of his unfailing love.
